The primary function of the Graphic Designer position will be to assist the Nashville Sounds with a wide variety of Marketing & Promotions designs:
  • Create original artwork for social media, website, billboards, advertising, etc.
  • Create original large-scale layout print pieces: such as, but not limited to pocket schedule, game day program, ticket hospitality guide (sales brochures), flyers, posters, print ads, etc.
  • Adhere to brand standards ensuring consistency in look and feel.
  • Serves as a team photographer for all Nashville Sounds home games, as well as events for the Nashville Sounds Foundation, First Horizon Park and Third and Home 
  • Able to deliver directly against a brief as directed by the Director of Creative, Senior Director of Marketing, or Lead Graphic Designer. 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Highly motivated, creative individual with a strong work ethic and drive to produce high quality content day in and day out
  • High understanding of graphic design and layout concepts
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Lightroom
  • Strong grasp of photography: from editing, cropping, selection, and use within graphics
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Ability to multi-task and complete projects in a timely manner, often under tight deadlines
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. or more
  • Knowledge and understanding of the rules, statistics, history of Major League Baseball and their affiliates a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of Adobe After Effects a plus
  • General understanding of marketing or ad design experience a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience a plus, but not required
