Position Overview:
The Nashville Sounds are seeking part-time seasonal camera operators for the 2026 Game Day Production Staff. The ideal applicants are local and interested in pursuing careers in broadcast media or sports production. Camera operator positions include both fixed and wireless camera set ups each game night. This position reports to the Event Production Manager.

This position’s duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Transporting and setting up gameday video equipment 
  • Operating the camera throughout the game, under the direction of the technical director 
  • Covering both game action and on-field contests and promotions between innings 
  • Breakdown and storage of equipment after the game

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays from March to September
  • Ability to work in a team environment while adhering to directions and guidelines from a supervisor
  • Must be able to lift 20+ pounds and stand for extended periods of time with exposure to outdoor elements
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, live event environment
  • Must interact professionally and appropriately with all fans, staff members, players, coaches and front office employees
  • General knowledge of broadcast cameras and sports production
  • General knowledge of baseball is preferred but not required
