POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Nashville Sounds are seeking a driven & tech-savvy individual to help plan, develop, and execute all aspects of game presentation at Nashville Sounds home games and special events at First Horizon Park. The ideal candidate will display skills in live event production, cross-departmental collaboration, and control room management. This is an operational and creative role, requiring the ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment. The nature of this role requires being available for all Nashville Sounds home games and other organizational events - so flexibility on working hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, is necessary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Event Production Assistant will work closely with the Event Production Manager to support the execution of the Nashville Sounds gameday presentation with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
  • Assisting with the operation of the video control room before, during, and after all Nashville Sounds home games and special events at First Horizon Park
  • Assisting with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of cameras and audio equipment with the ability to troubleshoot and repair as needed
  • Assisting with the editing of headshots, graphics, or other scoreboard elements as needed
  • Collaborating with the Corporate Partnerships and Marketing teams to ensure fulfillment and integration of corporate partners into all creative assets and videoboard systems
  • Assisting with the hiring and scheduling of the gameday Production Crew
  • Operating various control room positions such as cameras, audio boards, replay or videoboard systems
  • Working with the Promotions and Entertainment Manager and Special Events Coordinator to support audio and video needs for Nashville Sounds promotions and theme nights and Fist Horizon Park special events

Qualifications and Requirements:
·              Availability and willingness to work extended and flexible hours from January to September
·              Understanding of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Ross products (such as Carbonite, Xpression, Dashboard, Mira Replay, etc.)
·              Knowledge of Sony Cameras and Fujinon Lenses
·              Understanding and general knowledge of baseball rules, statistics, and run of show
·              An understanding of live sports TV production and live audio/video signal flow
·              Camera utility/grip and cable management experience
·              Ability to lift 30lbs. or more
·              Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required
