POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Nashville Sounds are seeking creative, driven, & energetic individuals to help plan, develop, and execute all aspects of game entertainment at Nashville Sounds home games and events. The ideal candidates will display effective communication skills, an ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized, is detail-oriented, and can excel in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment. This position oversees a team of gameday staff members that play an integral role in the gameday experience. The nature of this role requires being available for all Nashville Sounds home games and other organizational events - so flexibility on working hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, is necessary.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Entertainment Assistants will work closely with the Promotions and Production teams, as well as all organizational departments to conceptualize, promote, drive, and enhance the Nashville Sounds gameday experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist the Promotions and Entertainment Manager with the creation, planning, and execution of all game presentation features and elements.
  • Hire, schedule and lead gameday Promotions Team
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team to ensure fulfillment and integration of corporate partners into pre-game ceremonies, in-game elements, and giveaways.
  • Oversee the booking and execution of National Anthem performers, Color Guards, Ceremonial First Pitches, theme night vendors, special appearances, and other entertainment acts.
  • Coordinate logistics, ticket requests, and hospitality for ballpark entertainers, performers, and celebrities.
  • Gameday prep and execution of gate giveaways, concourse activations, on-field promotions, and in-game presentation.
  • Oversee nightly set-up and tear down of theme night activities and decorations.
  • Organize all gameday talent assignments based on run of show
  • Support Community Relations efforts with the planning, development, and execution of Nashville Sounds Foundation events, including but not limited to the Sounds Scramble, Play Ball Weekend and Pop-Up Baseball.
  • Provide superior customer service to clients including existing ticket holders, new prospects, and single game customers
 

Qualifications and Requirements:
·              Ability to work full-time, varying hours weekly from February to September
·              Enthusiastic initiative-taker able to succeed in a fast-paced environment
·              Experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines
·              Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team synergy skills required
·              Outgoing and comfortable speaking in front of small groups
·              Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required
·              Ability to interact professionally with full- and part-time staff, fans, clients and special guests
·              Proficient in Microsoft Office
