Position Overview:
The Control Room Audio Engineer will be responsible for managing volume levels for all audio sources within the First Horizon Park footprint for all Nashville Sounds home games during the 2026 season. This individual will collaborate with the Event Production Manager to ensure effective, accurate and entertaining content.

This position’s duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Generate all audio played in First Horizon Park using 7 Point Audio
  • Select music and sounds effects that will enhance the fan experience
  • Manage volume levels for all audio sources including music, microphones, and video playback
  • Ensure the proper execution of scripted audio elements for pregame, in-game, and postgame segments
  • Responsible for pregame preparation of in-game and inning break content
  • Troubleshoot technical and/or other practical issues that may arise
  • Be responsive to direction in live event setting
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Maintain focus in high-profile and high-leverage situations

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays from March to September
  • Ability to work in a team environment while adhering to directions and guidelines from a supervisor
  • Previous experience working in audio production or similar technical field
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and organizational skills
  • Must be reliable, detail oriented, well organized, and self-motivated
  • General knowledge of baseball is preferred but not required
