The Memphis Redbirds, triple-A affiliate of the St Louis Cardinals, are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and hard-working individual to fill the position of Visiting Clubhouse Assistant Manager for the 2026 season. The Visiting Clubhouse Assistant Manager will be responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and hospitality operations of the Visiting Clubhouse. This is a seasonal position to begin in March and last through September. Must be 18 or older to apply.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Laundering all uniforms, personals, and towels
- Shopping for/purchasing/preparing food and drink for pre-game snacks
- Coordinating with visiting staff to arrange post-game meals, per Clubhouse Guidelines set forth by Major League Baseball
- Maintaining inventory of groceries, cookware, dugout supplies, restroom/shower supplies, and clubhouse furniture
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of entire Clubhouse, Coach’s Office, Dressing Areas, Restrooms, Showers, and Storage Areas
- Preparing Visiting Dugout and Bullpen prior to and following team workouts/Batting Practice
- Supervising team attendants
- Availability to assist visiting players and staff with additional requests
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Willingness and ability to work long hours. This includes early mornings, late nights, weekends, and/or holidays throughout the duration of the baseball season
- Ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced professional sports environment
- Ability to interact professionally with Front Office staff, players, and coaches
- Ability to arrange personal housing and transportation at own expense
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time in adverse weather, including rain and heat
