POSITION: Game Day Media Relations Associate
FLSA Status:
Class Credit Internship / Hourly Pay
Start Date:  March 27 (flexible based on availability)

POSITION SUMMARY: The media relations associate will work directly with the Public Relations Manager and the Director of Broadcasting. This is position is for home games with occasional remote work expected for road games.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Write game stories as assigned for both home and road games, program articles, website features, etc.
·         Prepare press area on game day
·         Cut/caption game video highlights and upload to league site for league media
·         Operate DakStats Baseball computer program for in-game scoreboard and live stats
·         Assist with production of daily game notes
·         Other duties as assigned
 
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS
·         Bachelor’s degree OR in college working toward degree
·         Strong knowledge and understanding of baseball
·         Ability to work evenings and weekends throughout 2026 season
·         Superior writing and communication skills
·         Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, self motivation and team skills
·         Strong time management and organizational skills
 
COMPENSATION OPTIONS
·         Position may be used to fulfill class credit requirements and/or completed as a paid opportunity
·         Compensation is $10/hour
·         Job hours vary based on team schedule (at home, on the road, etc.)
