Overview:
The Louisville Bats, Triple-A Affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, are seeking a high energy, outgoing and entertaining part-time seasonal In-Game Host for the 2026 Bats Gameday Ballpark Staff. The ideal applicants are local college students, recent grads who are interested in pursuing a career in the sports industry and minor league baseball. Paid training. Scheduling is somewhat flexible but are expected to work all home games.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Host live promotional elements between innings and pre/post-game if necessary, while engaging fans, reciting a memorized script, and improvising where necessary
- Ensure all fan promotions and activations are explained clearly and accurately to participants prior to in-game execution
- Ensure all promotions and activations are executed in a fun and engaging manner and within the specified timeline
Qualifications
- Must have confidence in front of live crowds and a professional demeanor, interacting positively with guests, ballpark staff and volunteers
- exceptional communication skills, engaging voice personality
- Ability to memorize and recite text from programmed script
- Ability to take quick direction and improvise as necessary
- Receptive to constructive feedback
- Experience with hosting on-camera live events, preferably in a sports setting (if you have a demo reel, please include in submission)
Physical Demands of the Position
- Standing for long periods of time, walking/running up and down stairs and climbing on and off dugout tops
- Work is performed outdoors, sometimes in extreme heat and/or inclement weather in a crowded setting
Must be available from April – September.
