Part-Time
What is a “Promotainer”
- A person, such as a singer, dancer, or comedian at Louisville Slugger Field, whose job is to entertain the crowd.
- A cheerleader, whose job is to get Louisville Bats’ baseball fans engaged and keep them smiling and laughing, rain or shine.
- A character who brings joy and laughter to everyone, young and old, to make their ballpark experience even more memorable.
- An entertainer who plays a larger-than-life version of their real-life counterparts.
Job Function:
- Sole purpose is to transform into a mutually agreed-upon character and provide memorable experiences for fans during Bats home games.
- Create character bits to perform around the ballpark to entertain fans.
- Communicate with the Manager of Game Day Promotions & Programming, the Director of Marketing, other departments, and employees to ensure a world-class game day show.
- Reliability and dedication, excellent communication skills.
- Constant fan interaction, and guest courtesy.
Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable performing in front of large crowds and engaging with the public.
- A believer in creating exceptional experiences.
- Exude energy and excitement at all work functions to engage fans.
- Willingness to dress in costume, contribute creatively to events, and assist with assigned projects.
- Acting and improv experience is a plus.
