In-Game Host (Part-Time)
Job Overview
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and engaging individual to serve as our in-game host for games at Coca-Cola Park. This person will constantly be around fans throughout the game and should be personable, quick-thinking, and confident on camera and in front of 10,100 people a game. This position is part-time seasonal from March-September.
Responsibilities
- Serve as host for on-camera and in-stadium events for IronPigs home games
- Lead live games, features, and other promotions with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Help the Bacon Brigade, the IronPigs promotional team, with various elements of the nightly show
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior on-mic experience required (hosting at live events preferred)
- Excellent verbal communication skills and an ability to ad-lib
- Positive, professional, and family-friendly demeanor
- Charismatic and impactful
- Strong grasp of timing and ability to hit cues
- Availability to work nights and weekends (Note: this person will work with our other host and combine to cover all 75 ‘Pigs home games throughout the season).
- Experience as an interviewer is a plus
- Local candidates preferred
