The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are the Triple‐A affiliate of the Miami Marlins playing in the International League. The 2026 season will mark the franchise’s 24th since moving to VyStar Ballpark, located in downtown Jacksonville’s sports district. The Jumbo Shrimp are coming off a AAA National Championship season in which the team continued to build on the strong foundation set by our leadership team. The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp play 75 home games between April and September.
The Jumbo Shrimp are looking for a self-motivated and hard-working individual to assist in the daily operations of the visiting team clubhouse. As a member of the clubhouse staff, the team member is expected to provided first-class service to all players, coaches, league officials and umpires.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain cleanliness and overall organization of the clubhouse, locker rooms, and common areas
- Execute laundry duties including washing, drying, and distributing uniforms and towels daily, on game days
- Set up and break down pre- and post- game meals for players and team staff
- Ensure player lockers and team areas are properly stocked with materials need and maintained
- Assist with packing and organizing equipment and team luggage to be loaded on team travel days
- Provide general support to players, coaches, and team personnel as needed
- Follow all MLB and Jumbo Shrimp clubhouse policies and procedures to ensure a safe and professional environment
- Assist the Visiting Clubhouse Manager with specific tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in athletics, equipment management, or facilities support is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Dependable, team-oriented, and professional demeanor
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of baseball equipment and clubhouse operations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
