Job Title: Merchandise Intern

Position Overview:
The Iowa Cubs are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandise Intern to join our team for the 2026 season. This position offers hands-on experience in retail operations within Minor League Baseball. The Merchandise Intern will report directly to the Manager, Retail Merchandise and assist with all aspects of the team’s retail and online store operations. The length of the internship is flexible based on the candidate’s availability and academic schedule, with the season running from March through September. We are looking for someone who can begin before the season starts to assist with 2026 product deliveries and store preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with restocking and maintaining product displays in the team store
- Support inventory management through regular counts, organization, and data entry
- Help manage the online store, including processing orders and updating product listings
- Assist with ordering and tracking incoming merchandise shipments
- Help manage gameday staff, including scheduling, task delegation, and maintaining store standard
- Help maintain and run Team Store social media, including creating and posting content, promoting products, and engaging with fans
- Provide excellent customer service to fans and staff
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the merchandise department

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season
