Responsibilities:  
  • Unleash your creativity to identify and engage potential corporate sponsors that perfectly align with our team's ethos and audience.  
  • Craft compelling marketing/advertising strategies that leverage our vast array of assets to exceed clients' expectations.  
  • Ignite excitement with dynamic sales presentations that not only showcase our offerings but also demonstrate a deep understanding of each client's unique needs.  
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of market trends, ensuring our proposals are always ahead of the curve.  
  • Be the ultimate team player, collaborating with internal departments and external partners to bring our partnerships to life.  
  • Lead the charge on producing impactful performance reports. 
  • Crush goals, exceed targets, and set the bar high for yourself and the team.  

Other Duties/Responsibilities:  
  • Dive into the action by coordinating thrilling game day experiences for our sponsors alongside our Marketing and Operations Departments.  
  • Embrace any other challenge that comes your way with enthusiasm and gusto. 

Minimum Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, coupled with a minimum of 2 years' corporate sales experience in sports, events, or entertainment.  
  • Flexibility is key—you're ready to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.  

Skills & Abilities:  
  • Your communication skills are second to none—whether it's crafting the perfect pitch or sealing the deal. 
  • You thrive under pressure, juggling multiple tasks without breaking a sweat.  
  • Confidence is your superpower, and you're not afraid to use it to negotiate with clients and win them over.  
  • You're a strategic mastermind, always one step ahead of the game.  
  • Microsoft Office Suite is your playground—you know your way around Word, Excel, and PowerPoint like a pro.

About the Indianapolis Indians: 
The Indianapolis Indians are the professional Triple-A baseball club affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. In continuous operation since 1902, the organization believes in creating affordable and memorable experiences for fans so they can grow closer together with family, friends and the community through the game of baseball. The Indians play their home games at Victory Field, a 13,750-seat ballpark located in downtown Indianapolis and White River State Park. The venue opened in 1996 and has received numerous national accolades as one of the best minor league ballparks in the United States. The team has led Minor League Baseball in combined total attendance over the past 10 seasons. In 2018, the organization was recognized as Ballpark Digest Team of the Year. It was also named a 2019 Best Places to Work by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
