Overview
The Gwinnett Stripers, the Triple-A Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our Merchandise team. The Merchandise Associate assists in general operation of the Team Store (Bobby’s Tackle Shop).
This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or early career professionals who are passionate about sports, highly motivated, and eager to gain hands-on leadership experience. The program begins in February 2026 and runs through the conclusion of the Minor League Baseball season in September 2026.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service each time they shop
· Oversee day-to-day operations of retail store
· Manage website, order fulfillment, customer service, and sales tracking via eCommerce shop
· Responsible for the general appearance of the team shop, shop staff, and any area selling merchandise
· Assist customers with merchandise needs
· Aid in the creation of merchandise promotion through social media calendars and digital marketing strategies
· Assist in store sets and any special merchandise activations
· Understand and execute company directives to align with overall store strategies
· Operate register in team store during games
· Help with the organization and distribution of inventory
· Organize and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
· Help with the execution of branding and promotional ideas
· Update merchandise websites with current items and inventory counts
· Generate new ideas for products and designs for team and branded merchandise
· Supporting the organization in non-gameday events and other duties as assigned as well
Qualifications:
· BA preferred
· Superior organizational habits and ability to manage multiple projects.
· The ability to thrive in a competitive, fun, fast paced environment.
· Ability to work long hours, weekends and occasional holidays.
· Ability to exert physical effort which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of weight.
· Must complete a successful comprehensive background check
