The Gwinnett Stripers, the Triple-A Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our Corporate Sales team. The Corporate Partnerships Intern will play a key role in supporting both the sales and fulfillment efforts of the Corporate Partnerships department, with an even split between prospecting and partner activation. This position offers hands-on exposure to the full partnership lifecycle, from generating leads and supporting new business efforts to ensuring existing partnerships are executed at a high standard. With a 50/50 focus on sales and fulfillment, the role provides a well-rounded learning experience in sports marketing, client relations, and revenue generation, making it an excellent opportunity for anyone pursuing a career in the business side of sports.

This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or early career professionals who are passionate about sports, highly motivated, and eager to gain hands-on leadership experience. The program begins in February 2026 and runs through the conclusion of the Minor League Baseball season in September 2026.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Support the execution of partnership activations on game days and at team events. 
  • Sell, coordinate and manage the Gwinnett Stripers’ Food Trade Program. 
  • Assist with prospect research, lead generation, outreach, and set meetings to support new business development. 
  • Assist with preparing sales presentations, proposals, and collateral materials for prospective partners. 
  • Support the execution of partnership activations on game days and at team events. 
  • Assist in the creation of partnership recap reports and presentations. 
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of sponsorship elements. 
  • Provide exceptional service to current and prospective partners. 
  • Help maintain partnership fulfillment trackers and document proof of performance of partnership assets. 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new partnership ideas and activations. 
  • Assisting the Corporate Partnerships team and other departments with duties as assigned including, but not limited to special events, community appearances and game day operations as needed.  
  • Assist with tarp pulls when weather requires the field to be covered.  
 
Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Flexible schedule (January–September) with the ability to work long hours, nights, weekends, holidays, game days and non-game days as needed. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with partners and staff. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe Photoshop or Digideck is a plus. 
  • Passion for sports and an interest in pursuing a career in sports business, sales, or marketing. 
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Prior work experience with a professional team is preferred, although not required.
