The Gwinnett Stripers are the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, and are entering their 15th season at Coolray Park in Lawrenceville, GA. The Stripers are a proud member of Diamond Baseball Holdings, which was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through professional management, best practices, innovation, and investment. 

The Coordinator, Digital Marketing will be a vital part of our marketing team, helping to create a great experience for fans at games and at home. They would accomplish this by capturing content in and around Coolray Field including promotions, highlights, fans, and entertainment; posting announcements and updates about the team and events on all Stripers social media accounts; and assisting with the management of the teams' website and e-newsletter platform as well as data driven analytics to assist with ticket and partnership sales. We expect this person to learn and grow within the organization, both locally and with Diamond Baseball Holdings, currently the largest owner of Minor League Baseball teams. 
 
The Coordinator, Digital Marketing will work within the greater Marketing Department with team members ranging in areas of graphic design, ballpark production, community relations, advertising, promotions, public relations, partnerships, and merchandise. While all members have unique responsibilities, the department functions as a unit to provide a uniquely Stripers experience for our community. 
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Create, edit, publish and share daily, unique content that increases engagement and meaningful connections to grow our audience
  • Provide strategic direction for tools and technology to support the implementation and execution of the marketing and business analytics vision
  • Work within our social management platforms to properly tag, track, and analyze data providing key performance metrics
  • Apply best practices with regard to digital standards, be aware of current trends in digital technology, and investigate emerging technologies and strategies
  • Create, edit, and send e-newsletters dependent on messaging and database
  • Proactively identify trends, within our organization or outside, to guide data driven marketing campaigns and efforts
  • Continually grow e-newsletter database, strategic lead generation, and audience engagement
  • Oversee website content, design, and aesthetic; updating daily 
  • Ensure consistent style, quality, tone, and format of web and social media messaging
  • Provide social coverage of ballpark events, community appearances, ticketing events and any other events that come up throughout the season
  • Monitor and troubleshoot any issues or feedback on a timely basis
  • Oversee texting campaigns and communications
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that branding and style requirements are met in creation of all graphics
  • Assist in fulfilling sponsorship agreements on all digital platforms
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 
●     Bachelor’s degree preferred 
●     Prior experience working with social media in the sports world 
●     Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging social media platforms 
●     General understanding of baseball 
●     Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on a team 
●     Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment 
●     Available to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required 
●     Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
●     Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Docs/Forms 
●     Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus 
●     Must complete a background check
