Position Overview
The Durham Bulls are seeking a highly-motivated Videographer / Editor Intern to support video production across games, special events, and marketing initiatives. This role will focus on capturing and editing dynamic video content that enhances the fan experience, supports promotional efforts, and strengthens the Bulls brand across platforms.
This is a hands-on production role ideal for someone who thrives in a live sports environment and is eager to build a strong portfolio in sports and entertainment media. Motion graphics experience a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture video content during home games,special events, and community activations
- Edit short-form and promotional video content for social media and digital platforms
- Produce quick-turn hype videos, recaps, and promotional assets
- Support video needs for theme nights, sponsorship features, retail promotions, and fan engagement initiatives
- Assistwith in-game video elements and creative storytelling concepts
- Organize andmaintainvideo files and media libraries
- Collaborate with marketing, game presentation, and social teams on content execution
Qualifications
- Proficiencyin Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experience shooting withprofessional camera systems such as Sony FX6, FX3 (or similar Super 35 / full-frame mirrorless cinema cameras).
- Strong understanding of exposure, frame rates, picture profiles,and basic color workflow.
- Working knowledge of lighting principles including key/fill/rim setups, shaping light, and balancing mixed lighting environments.
- Experience setting up and breaking down lights, modifiers, reflectors, flags, and basic grip equipment.
- Ability tooperateconfidently in both:
- Live environments (in-game, sideline, fast-paced moments)
- Controlled studio environments (headshots, interviews, backdrops)
- Basic understanding of audio capture in live environments
- Strong editing instincts with an understanding of pacing and visual storytelling
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Availability for evenings, weekends, home games, andspecial events
Bonus Skills:
- Working knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics
- Passion for baseball, sports culture, or live entertainment

Position Details:
