The Columbus Clippers professional baseball team is hiring candidates for the 2026 baseball season to work specifically within the Ticket Department.
Job Summary:
The Columbus Clippers are seeking customer service oriented individuals to fill a variety of ticket sales and service roles throughout the 2026 season. This requires both gameday and non-gameday hours. Internship will begin in early February 2026 and continue through the conclusion of the 2026 baseball season.
Job duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, outgoing, positive attitude and team driven individuals that will assist us in the following areas:
-Individual game ticketing
-Group Sales
-Season Ticket Management and Service
-Gameday Operations
-Facility & Event Management
-Non-Baseball special events at the ballpark and the community
Employees are expected to positively represent the Clippers organization and follow all Clippers policies and procedures. Interns are expected to complete projects and tasks efficiently, meet Clippers standards, and provide exceptional customer service.
Time Requirement:
Office hours will begin in February and require 6 hours a week. We can work around current school and work schedules. Candidates will be required to work all Clippers home games from late March through mid-September 2026. Workdays can consist of up to 8-10 hours a shift. There will also be non-baseball events and community events on non-game days when scheduled. Standing for long periods of time, lifting/carrying for event preparation and candidates will be required to work weekends and holidays when applicable.
Education Requirement:
Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
Experience:
Prior ticketing experience not required. Interns will be taught Ticketmaster/Archtics software.
Notes:
This position is eligible for college credit and will interns get paid an hourly wage once gates open for games. Outside events will also be paid hourly. Parking and food vouchers will be provided for ballpark games and events.
