About Innovation Baseball Partners
Innovation Baseball Partners ("IBP") is an ownership group and operating company building a portfolio of independent minor league baseball teams. We believe in the magic of baseball as a force for good. The teams in our portfolio play high-quality baseball while making strong contributions to their communities, drawing from a spirit of innovation, entertainment, and civic pride.
About the Role
IBP is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to support digital marketing strategy and execution across our portfolio of teams. This person will help each team grow its fan base, sell tickets, promote merchandise, strengthen community engagement, and create a more consistent digital operating system across email, social media, CRM, ticketing, design, content, and reporting.

This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who can think strategically and also execute quickly. The Growth Marketing Manager will work across team leadership, ticketing, merchandise, partnerships, operations, and creative resources to turn team stories, promotions, games, and community moments into campaigns that drive attendance, revenue, and fan loyalty. This person will collaborate with the local teams, augmenting their deep community knowledge and engagement with smart, data-driven growth campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Campaign Management
Develop and execute digital marketing plans across IBP teams, including game promotion, ticket sales campaigns, theme nights, community events, merchandise drops, sponsorship activations, and fan engagement initiatives.

Email Marketing & Fan Communication
Own or support email marketing strategy across teams, including newsletters, ticket sales campaigns, promotional announcements, pre-game communications, post-game follow-ups, win-back campaigns, and segmented fan messaging.

Ticketing & Revenue Support
Partner with ticketing teams to drive online ticket sales through digital campaigns, promotional offers, landing pages, audience segmentation, and performance tracking. Work closely with Vivenu and other ticketing tools to understand digital sales performance and campaign attribution.

CRM & Audience Growth
Help organize and improve fan database strategy, including fan/ticketing CRM practices, lead capture, list growth, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing. Build repeatable ways to turn single-game buyers, community contacts, giveaway entrants, and merchandise customers into long-term fans.

Creative & Design Workflow
Organize digital creative across teams, including graphics, email assets, social templates, digital ads, landing page assets, and promotional materials. Ensure teams have usable templates, clear brand standards, and organized creative workflows.

Reporting & Performance Analysis
Report on the performance of digital campaigns, email sends, social content, ticket promotions, merchandise campaigns, and fan acquisition efforts. Translate results into clear recommendations for team leaders.

Marketing Systems & Process Improvement
Help IBP standardize the way teams use digital tools, file storage, campaign calendars, shared templates, and reporting. Build lightweight playbooks so teams can move faster and operate more consistently.

Cross-Functional Team Support
Work closely with ticketing, merchandise, partnerships, community, operations, and game presentation teams to make sure digital marketing supports the full business, not just social media presence.

What Success Looks Like
The Growth Marketing Manager will be successful if IBP teams have stronger digital execution, clearer campaign calendars, better email and social consistency, cleaner fan data, more effective ticket and merch promotion, and more visibility into what marketing activity is actually driving results.

Qualifications
Required:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in digital marketing, sports marketing, entertainment, events, hospitality, ecommerce, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with email marketing, social media, digital campaigns, audience segmentation, and campaign reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams, campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders at once.
  • Strong writing instincts and ability to create clear, fan-friendly marketing copy.
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments.
  • Analytical enough to understand what is working, what is not, and what should change.
  • Collaborative, organized, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
  • Experience with Shopify, Mailchimp, HubSpot or other CRM platforms, Canva, Google Workspace, and other digital marketing management tools.

Preferred
  • Experience in sports, live events, minor league baseball, entertainment, or community-based brands.
  • Experience building repeatable templates, workflows, dashboards, or campaign playbooks.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a practical, high-energy digital marketer who enjoys both strategy and execution. They understand that minor league baseball is part sports, part entertainment, part community building, and part local business. They can help a team sell tickets on a Tuesday night, promote a merch launch on Wednesday, support a sponsor activation on Friday, and organize the reporting afterward.

They are creative, scrappy, organized, data-aware, and excited by the opportunity to help build the digital marketing engine for a growing portfolio of independent baseball teams.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks The expected base salary range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors. This is a full-time position and is expected to be classified as exempt.

In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for IBP’s full-time employee benefits and perks package, which may include:
  • Company-sponsored health and wellness benefits, subject to plan eligibility
  • Paid time off and paid sick leave, consistent with company policy and applicable law
  • Opportunity to help build and grow a portfolio of independent professional baseball teams
  • Hands-on experience across professional sports, live events, ticketing, merchandise, digital marketing, fan engagement, and community-building
  • IBP/team merchandise, concessions, and ticket perks
