Job Title: Accountant
We’re looking for a detail-obsessed and experienced Accountant to join our growing finance team. If you love a clean general ledger, find peace in reconciliations, and want to play a key role in helping us hit a home run with our financial operations , we want to talk.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with month end close activities
- Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries
- Manage daily accounting transactions, including processing invoices and preparing invoices via QBO and Bill.com
- Assist with reconciliations of ticketing and game revenue via Shopify and Square
- Assist with expense reports via Expensify and ensure compliance with expense policies
- Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and ensure up-to-date records for 1099 processing
- Assist in process improvements and general automation initiatives
- Support ad hoc projects
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- A proactive problem-solver who doesn't just find a discrepancy but figures out why it happened
- Ability to work independently
- Collaborative and eager to learn
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $60,000 to 70,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic considerations.
