The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are seeking highly motivated and energetic individuals to be a part of the Promotions Team during the regular baseball season. This position will work with the Ballpark Entertainment Manager to coordinate and fulfill all game day elements. In addition, Promotions team members will work alongside Marketing Associates during grassroot marketing opportunities. Promo Team members must demonstrate excellent entertainment and performance skills. They should also be an excellent social media user with the ability to promote the Woodpeckers brand and answer fan inquires.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of game elements that are consistent with the department’s philosophy and the organizations mission, vision and values.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team members to promote the Woodpeckers brand in the Fayetteville community and surrounding areas.
  • Support Ballpark Entertainment Manager within control room, video production setup, and scoreboard needs.
  • Assist with the management of production videos, features, and game footage for internal and external distribution.

  • Participate in grassroot marketing efforts for internal and external
  • Assist in organizing grassroot marketing
  • Track customers’ preferences and suggest advertising and positioning ideas through feedback to the Marketing Director.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to create content for social media and in-game


Education and/or Experience:

  • Must be highly creative, possess strong initiative, be detail oriented and comfortable in large crowds.
  • Must be a part of the gameday entertainment and enjoy entertaining
  • Ability to work extended or unpredictable hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and
  • Shared passion for the business and a desire to positively influence the
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with other departments and tenured production staff.
  • Must by very organized, flexible and able to work in a live production and fast-paced


Work Environment

Position will work within the front office, in the stadium and at appointed marketing events. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment. This role routinely works in all types of outdoor weather conditions and within a stadium environment. This position requires the ability to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. Nature of position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision as well as use of hands to feel or control objects.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including; extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
