Summary

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are seeking a Photography / Videography Associate. This position will work with the Creative Service Manager on concepting and capturing photography / videography to be used throughout social media and during games.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photography and videos during Fayetteville Woodpeckers games, Segra Stadium Events and promotional campaigns
• Assist in shooting action, lifestyle and behind the scenes photography including games, crowd engagement, promotional items, retail merchandise and special events
• Edit video content of in-game action, highlight reels and promotional content for social media, website and videoboard
• Edit and deliver photo assets into photo storage system for uses across social media, advertising, websites, print and videoboard
• Collaborate with Creative Service Manager and other marketing team members to ensure content aligns within brand standards and overall project goals
• Organize, tag and maintain video and photography assets within digital asset management systems
• Provide creative ideas for upcoming games, promotions and events during creative/marketing meetings
• Performs duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• Photography, Media Arts, Film or Video Production Degree (or working towards it)
• Strong proficiency in photo editing software – Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop
• Strong proficiency in video editing software – Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro
• Knowledge of Graphic Design and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Can provide a portfolio showcasing previous work of photography / videography projects or campaigns
• Familiarity with social media, web, app and email platforms
• A positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, and keen sense of accountability
• Creative and solution-minded individual
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to build relationships, work and contribute to a team-based environment and deliver excellence in client service
• Ability to work extended or unpredictable hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Shared passion for the business and a desire to positively influence the business

Work Environment

Job may require employee to function in a in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue/environment. Employee may also be exposed to weather of varying degrees for extended periods of time while performing the duties of this job.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. Must be able to stand for up to four (4) hours at a time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Ability to write, read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time and seasonal position. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends during baseball season. Must be available to arrive up to one (1) hour prior to game time.

Travel

Travel is not expected in this role.
