The Sussex County Miners of the Frontier League are looking for TV Production/Broadcasting and Analytics interns for the 2026 season.
Some tasks include and aren't limited to...
- TV Production
- Operation of a camera for our home games and select road games for b-roll purposes.
- Dugout Pit Cameras
- Wireless Broadcast (getting shots our pit camera's and ball track would not normally get)
- Wireless Promo (following our promo team to film between innings promos varying from on field games to lucky seat giveaways.
- Ball Track (follow the action as it happens)
- Directing (including both broadcast and gameday entertainment)
- Board Operation (including broadcast switcher and stadium video board)
- Graphics
- Broadcasting
- Writing recaps
- Live broadcasting
- Post game interviews
- Analytics
- Live game data entry (both home and away games(away games are remote work)) (Home games can be done remotely but you must be available to come to home games during the season which is explained below).
- Live pitch tracking using Yakkertrack to compile data
- Operation of the pitch clock
If you apply for this internship you will be expected to be available for all positions; however you will NOT be forced to do anything you are not comfortable doing (live broadcasting etc.).
Qualifications
- College student preferred but not required
- You do not have to be receiving credits to apply (it is encouraged)
- Must be available for all Miners home games. Games are Tuesday-Sunday when at home. Normally 7pm T-F, 6:30 Sat, & 2:05 Sun (exception of two games starting at 11am) (Season opens May 8th)
- You will not be asked to come in while still in school.
- You will NOT be asked to work every game.
- Preferably an 1:15 (75 minutes) or less travel distance to the stadium in Augusta, NJ
- If you are applying and your profile says you are from out of state (more then two hours away) please mention in your cover letter that you are in fact within that 60-75 minute range of Skylands Stadium or are willing to make the commute at least 2-3 times a week
- MUST be willing to do all tasks above
- You will be trained on everything regardless of your main preference.
Although this is a combined internship please in your cover letter specify what your preference is (TV Production/Analytics/Broadcasting)
