The Box Office Internship Program provides students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in sports ticket operations, customer service, and event management. Interns will play a key role in ensuring smooth gameday operations and delivering an exceptional fan experience at Skylands Stadium, home of the Sussex County Miners.
During the internship, the Intern will:
- Operate the box office point-of-sale system to sell walk-up tickets on game days.
- Manage ticket exchanges, will-call orders, and comp ticket distribution.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls related to ticket sales, promotions, and general inquiries.
- Assist with pre-game and post-game ticket reconciliations.
- Maintain organization of the box office, ensuring all cash drawers, reports, and ticketing materials are properly handled.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service to all guests and fans.
- Support other ticketing and promotional operations as assigned.
