This is a seasonal position. (Mid May - End August)
Compensation: Monthly Stipend

The Schaumburg Boomers are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated students to be a part of the 2022 season. As an intern, you will obtain first-hand experience in the entire operation of a successful professional baseball franchise.

A promotions intern would primarily be focused on making sure our fans have a wonderful experience by providing exciting and engaging promotions throughout the season via on-field games, customer service, theme nights, community outreach, and other opportunities.

Every day is different with the Boomers, but a typical day might include:
• Attending various community events
• Planning, setting up and executing exciting on-field entertainment
• Dancing, cheering, and having FUN!
• Setting up the team-store, as well as helping with other event setup as needed, we are a team!
• Help with day to day function of organization you might be asked to do any number of things; it’s
part of the all-inclusive experience

You’re a good fit if you:
• Are currently attending college
• Are able to work all game dates and additional off-site events and promotional appearances
• Have strong organizational skills
• Have an ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-task work environment
• Have superior oral communication, writing and editing skills
• Are highly motivated with strong work ethic
• Have a passion for sports and strong desire to work in a team environment
Bonus Points:
• If you have experience with Microsoft Excel
• If you’re using this experience towards credit at your college
• If you have previous experience working in sports
