Our Catering Cooks will work directly with the Culinary Manager and will assist in all aspects of Boomers' catering operations. Catering Cooks will be an integral part in the overall execution of the group experience at Wintrust Field. Note: this is a seasonal part-time position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute the suites pre-order menu, picnic/party deck menu, Schaumburg Club menu, and in-game Jim Beam Club bar menu
- Execute a post-game meal for both Home/Away teams, Coaches, & Umpires
- Work closely with Vice President of Food & Beverage and Director of Hospitality to ensure food operation runs smoothly
- Assist with food preparation before scheduled home games/events
- Assist with kitchen clean-up and dishes after games/events
- Maintain compliance with health & food safety regulations
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST LIVE IN CHICAGOLAND AREA
- Food Handler Certified
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a team player and able to work well with the food & beverage team
- Must be able to work morning, nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with the game schedule
- Able to commit to all Boomers home games (certain exceptions can be made)
