The Schaumburg Boomers are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated students to be part of the 2026 season. As an intern, you will obtain first-hand experience in the entire operation of an award-winning professional baseball franchise in the Chicagoland area.
This internship has two distinct areas of importance: ticket sales & hospitality. The first area you will be working with is the Wintrust Field Box Office. You will assist the Director of Ticket Operations with ticket operations prep, walk-up sales, group & ticket package sales, and interactions with fans/season-ticket holders.
The second area of this internship includes hospitality management. You will be completing the setup, in-game execution, and post-game clean-up for our various private hospitality spaces. This is an excellent opportunity to interact with fans and group leaders to develop customer service and problem-solving/prevention skills.
This internship includes game-day and non-game-day office hours.
A typical day may include:
- Proactively selling ticket packages and groups
- Attending various community events - including parades & mascot appearances

- Executing pre-game set-up, in-game execution, and post-game clean-up of various private hospitality spaces
- Help with the day-to-day function of the organization. You might be asked to do any number of things; it’s part of the all-inclusive experience!
You’re a good fit if you:
- Are currently attending college
- Are able to work all 51 home games and additional off-site events
- Have strong organizational skills
- Have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-task work environment
- Have superior oral communication, writing, and editing skills
- Are highly motivated with a strong work ethic
- Have a strong desire to work in a team environment
Please submit your resume & cover letter to TeamWork Online.
