The Ottawa Titans are hiring a part-time seasonal Media/Baseball Ops Assistant for the 2026 Season. This position will report to the Manager, Media Relations & Broadcast and work with the Coaching Staff. The selected candidate will contribute to the continued on-field and off-field success of the organization and is expected to work all Titans home games from May through September.

 

·       Operate TrackMan radar for every Titans home game

·       Ensure rosters and all necessary information is set up in TrackMan prior to the game

·       Log all baseball information for the entire game, monitoring the system and making any necessary changes throughout the game (i.e. roster changes, defensive substitutions, etc.)

·       Maintain TrackMan equipment required for tagging and Troubleshoot system issues with Trackman support, fixing errors and uploading the data at the end of the game

·       Work with coaching staff to gather/create scouting reports as needed

·       Assist with the creation and distribution of media game notes, stat packs and lineups

·       Assist with all media relations efforts including interview requests, media credentials and related duties

·       Opportunity to assist with writing game recaps, feature stories and articles for the Titans website

·       Assist in maintenance of the Press Box

·       Other duties as assigned

·       Ability to work a part-time schedule to include all Titans home games (nights, weekends, and holidays required) from May 1 through September 30

·       Willing to learn, work hard and handle multiple assignments at once while maintaining a positive attitude

·       Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

·       Extensive knowledge of baseball

·       Strong computer skills and strong writing skills

·       Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus

·       Experience with media production equipment is a plus

·       Living in Ottawa or the National Capital Region with legal working status in Canada
