The Ottawa Titans are looking for a dedicated, passionate and self-motivated full-time Group Sales Representative to join the Ticketing Department and sell group tickets, suites and other relevant ticketing options for Titans games. The selected candidate will also assist with handling customer inquiries, provide outstanding customer service and facilitate elements of the group fan experience as required, among other tasks as needed.
The Group Sales Representative reports directly to the Director of Ticketing and General Manager and will work closely with other members of the front office. The role is an entry-level, full-time position beginning at the end of February, requiring availability for all Titans home games and events as required.
Responsibilities
- Maximize group sales, suite sales and ticket sales revenue through outreach and lead generation
- Meet and exceed new sales, renewal and weekly outreach targets as set by management
- Ensure all group and suite clients are satisfied throughout the duration of their event
- Diligently track all outgoing and incoming leads, ensuring consistent follow through accordingly
- Enter all pertinent group prospect and customer information in CRM for efficient reporting and effective pipeline management
- Work assigned sales, promotional, and team events to develop new prospects and referral opportunities during games, marketing initiatives, and other events
- Provide best-in-class customer service for all prospects, clients and fans
- Fulfill non-ticketing-related in-game roles as needed on a game-by-game basis
- Support other departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Desire to work in the sports industry and specifically in a field related to Ticket Sales
- Willingness and ability to work a variable schedule including late nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed, including all Titans home games
- Bilingual (French & English) an asset
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate, problem solve, think outside the box, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals
- Excellent people skills and communication skills
- Positive and enthusiastic, willing to step beyond your comfort zone

- Canadian citizenship/residency or valid work permit
Education and Experience
- Degree or equivalent in related field (Business, Sports Management, etc.) a plus
- Previous sales experience required
