About Us:
The North Jersey Pro Baseball Group is a premier professional baseball organization committed to delivering exciting entertainment experiences and building strong community relationships. We are seeking motivated and driven individuals to join our team as Winter Inside Sales Interns. This internship offers hands-on experience in sports business operations, sales development, and fan engagement, providing a pathway to a career in professional sports.

Position Overview:
As an Inside Sales Intern, you will play a key role in generating revenue through ticket sales initiatives while developing skills in customer service, database management, and sales outreach. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support group sales, season ticket packages, and promotional campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in the sports industry and build a professional foundation for future roles in sales, marketing, or front office operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team in generating new leads through cold calls, emails, and in-person outreach.
  • Support efforts to sell season tickets, mini-plans, group outings, and premium seating packages.
  • Maintain and update the sales database with accurate customer information.
  • Provide excellent customer service by handling inbound sales inquiries and assisting with ticket exchanges.
  • Participate in promotional campaigns, fan engagement efforts, and community outreach events.
  • Assist with game-day preparation and execution as needed.
  • Collaborate with staff on creative strategies to increase revenue and enhance the fan experience.

Qualifications:

  • Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable making sales calls and interacting with customers.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Passion for sports and interest in a career in the professional sports industry.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
