About Us:
The North Jersey Pro Baseball Group is a leading professional baseball organization dedicated to providing memorable entertainment experiences while building strong partnerships with local businesses and the community. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our front office as Winter Corporate Sales Interns. This role offers hands-on experience in sponsorship and partnership sales, business development, and corporate relationship management within the sports industry.

Position Overview:
As a Corporate Sales Intern, you will assist in developing and maintaining partnerships with businesses throughout North Jersey and beyond. You will support the corporate sales team in outreach, proposal creation, and client service while learning the ins and outs of sponsorship sales in professional sports. This internship provides valuable experience for students interested in pursuing careers in sports business, sponsorship, or account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential corporate partners for sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
  • Assist with outreach efforts through phone calls, emails, and networking to establish new business relationships.
  • Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and partnership decks.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects and partner communications in the sales database.
  • Assist with activation of current partnerships, ensuring fulfillment of contract deliverables.
  • Participate in brainstorming and creative development of new sponsorship assets.
  • Provide game-day and event support, including sponsor activations, hospitality, and client relations.
  • Collaborate with staff on strategies to grow corporate revenue and strengthen community presence.

Qualifications:

  • Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Outgoing, professional, and confident in a business-to-business setting.
  • Interest in sales, partnerships, and relationship building.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Passion for sports and entertainment, with an eagerness to learn from industry professionals.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
