The Box Office Representative will assist customers with the selection and purchase of their tickets, while providing helpful information and a high level of customer service. Box Office Representatives are commonly the first point of contact for guests attending a match, so they set the tone for the entire fan experience. Box Office Representatives greet each guest and respond to each request in a friendly and polite manner, while giving guidance and direction for any further needs. The ability to proficiently navigate the ticketing system, as well a strong customer service background, is essential. Hours include approximately 5 – 6 hours on game day at Hinchliffe Stadium. Your day will include arriving to Hinchliffe Stadium 2 hours before first pitch and working for the duration of the game.
This role reports directly to the General Manager
What You’ll Do:
- Greet each guest and respond to each request in a friendly and polite manner
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Navigate the Jackals ticketing systems
- Additional duties include assisting with set up and putting away of ticket scanners.
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring:
- Excellent customer service and relationship skills
- Ability to operate a computer and learn ticketing system
- Ability to work weekends, weekdays, weeknights, and holidays
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions
- Must have basic math skills
- Ability to run the box office and assigned game day interns
- Ability to work every Jackals home game
What You’ll Need:
- 6+ months experience working in a customer service role
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (additional languages are a bonus)
