Position Overview
The New Jersey Jackals are seeking motivated, outgoing, and competitive individuals to join our Part-Time Sales Team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in sports sales while contributing directly to the growth of a professional sports organization. Part-Time Sales Associates play a key role in generating revenue through ticket sales, group outings, hospitality packages, and special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell ticket products including season tickets, partial plans, group outings, and single-game packages
- Make outbound sales calls, send follow-up emails, and engage prospective clients
- Assist with in-stadium sales initiatives and game day promotions
- Build relationships with local businesses, schools, nonprofits, and community groups
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity in CRM systems
- Support sales events, community appearances, and promotional activations
- Provide excellent customer service to fans, partners, and guests
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a positive, competitive mindset
- Comfortable making outbound phone calls and speaking with the public
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and game days
- Interest in sports, sales, marketing, or business (baseball knowledge a plus, not required)
- Sales experience preferred but not required — training will be provided
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) a +
- Paterson or North Jersey native a ++
