The New Jersey Jackals are looking for a Ticket Operations Intern to be a part of our Professional Baseball Team during the 2023 season. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain daily oversight of Box Office during and leading up to Yogi Berra Stadium events and Jackals Baseball Games
- Perform normal operating procedures of the Box Office including opening and closing, assist customer purchases, and accept payments
- Balance cash and receipt drawer with manager at the end of each shift
- Ability to professionally assist and provide information to customers during events
- Understand all aspects of the ticketing systems
- Assist with in-game operations and other various aspects of operating our ballpark such as events, concerts, high school and college baseball games, and pulling tarp.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be computer proficient
- Must possess strong work ethic and have ability to multi-task
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Must be seeking college credit
