Location: Hinchliffe Stadium – Paterson, New Jersey
Pay Rate: $16–$20 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Part-Time / Seasonal / Nights, Weekends & Holidays Required

Position Summary
The New Jersey Jackals are seeking hardworking, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Gameday Grounds Crew for the upcoming baseball season at historic Hinchliffe Stadium. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a professional playing surface and delivering a first-class fan and player experience during all home games and stadium events.
The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about sports, teamwork, and live event operations.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the baseball field before, during, and after games
- Assist with batting practice setup and post-game field cleanup
- Handle tarp pulls and weather-related field protection procedures
- Maintain dugouts, bullpens, foul territory, and surrounding field areas
- Operate basic groundskeeping tools and equipment safely
- Assist with stadium setup for special events, concerts, and community programs
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and safe
- Work collaboratively with stadium operations and baseball staff
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
- Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, athletic field, or baseball experience preferred but not required
- Must be at least 16 years old
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of baseball field maintenance
- Experience operating small equipment or tools
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced live event environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
