The New England Knockouts are a professional baseball team in the MLB-partnered Frontier League. The Knockouts are the newest franchise of the Frontier League, officially being awarded membership in the fall of 2023. The Knockouts play at Campanelli Stadium, located in Brockton, Massachusetts. Fans and other members of the media can stay up-to-date with all Knockouts content through their social media channels @NEProBaseball. 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food and Beverage Intern to join our team for the upcoming [Season Year] season. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced environment of a major league baseball stadium. As a Food and Beverage Intern, you will work closely with our culinary and hospitality professionals to ensure the highest level of service and satisfaction for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of game day food and beverage operations, including concessions, suites, and special events.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food safety and sanitation protocols are followed.
  • Support front-of-house operations by assisting with customer service, cashiering, and managing concessions lines during peak periods.
  • Participate in menu development and tastings, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Help coordinate and execute special promotions, themed nights, and other fan engagement initiatives related to food and beverage offerings.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to inform decision-making and enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a culinary arts, hospitality management, or related program.
  • Strong passion for food and beverage service, with a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds or more, as needed for various tasks related to food and beverage operations.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the game schedule.
