The Lake Erie Crushers are a professional baseball team that are a member of the Frontier League a, “Partner League” of Major League Baseball.

The Crushers established in 2009 are based in Avon, Ohio and their home stadium is Lake Erie Crushers Stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000. Including 11 suites, four person terrace tables, berm seating, picnic and patio areas for group outings. The stadium has new artificial turf, concession stands, team shop, state of the art sound system and new video board. Avon is 20 miles west of Cleveland, Ohio and part of the Cleveland metropolitan area. 
The Role
The Crushers have an opening for a Manager of Events that will be responsible for pre game/post game and non game day events.
The ideal candidate is creative, resourceful, in the mindset to enhance the fan experience and drive revenue.

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for creating and implementing events for the team and ballpark.
-Creating annual budget and business plan.
-Develop and monitor KPI's to measure success.
- Assist in the coordination of theme nights.
-Conduct research on event trends with in the industry.
-Hire and train interns.
-Coordinate communication throughout the organization.
-Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree
-one to three(1-3) years of experience
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Strong computer skills
-Strong motivation skills and a self starter
-Must be able to stand for long periods of time
-Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
