Term: Summer Internship (May–August)
Compensation: Unpaid – College Credit Only

About the Lake Erie Crushers and ForeFront Field
The Lake Erie Crushers are a professional baseball team based in Avon, Ohio, just 18
miles west of Cleveland at ForeFront Field. They compete in the Frontier League, a
proud MLB Partner League, and have brought a family-friendly, fan-oriented baseball
experience to Northeast Ohio since 2009. As Lorain County’s only professional sports
franchise, the Lake Erie Crushers are the largest economic driver in Lorain County,
hosting more than 200 events per year that include over 50 baseball games, concerts,
charity functions, and other events that bring the community together. Len Komoroski is
the Crushers Chairman and Managing Partner, and the team is led by President Vic
Gregovits. Jared Lemieux, a Maine Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, is in his fourth
season as field manager

Position Overview
Game Day performers are the heartbeat of the ballpark experience. This role brings
energy, personality, and entertainment to fans through on-field performances,
promotions and crowd interaction. Performers help create unforgettable moments.

Key Responsibilities
 Perform in on-field promotions, skits, races, contests, and entertainment
segments.
 Engage fans in the stands before, during and after games.
 Support theme nights, special events, and corporate partner activations.
 Represent the team brand in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner.

Qualifications
 Currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive academic
credit with a focus on marketing, communications, performance, theater, cheer,
improv, public speaking or a related field.
 High-energy, outgoing, and fan-focused attitude.
 Experience working with children or family audiences.
 Emcee or crowd engagement experience.
 Unique performance skills welcome!
 Ability to take direction and apply feedback.
 Willingness to work nights, weekends and game days based on the game and
event schedules.

Schedule & Commitment
 Internship runs from May through August.
 Must be available for a majority of Lake Erie Crushers home games and key
summer events.
 Hours vary based on event schedule and projects with ability to apply hours to
the traditional Monday-Friday 9a-5p work schedule, plus events.
