Video Production Intern

The Joliet Slammers are seeking a motivated and creative Video Production Intern for the upcoming 2026 season. This unpaid internship offers valuable hands-on experience in live sports production, content creation, and game day operations within a professional baseball environment.
This position is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to build their portfolio and gain real-world experience in sports media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with filming and editing game highlights and promotional content
- Support camera operators and production staff during home games
- Help create social media content and digital media assets
- Participate in pre-game setup and post-game breakdown of production equipment
- Contribute creative ideas for video features and fan engagement content
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)
- Interest in sports media, broadcasting, or digital content creation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a communications, media, film, or related program
- Prior experience with video production (academic or personal projects welcome)
