Job Title: Clubhouse Manager
Reports to: Baseball Operations

The Slammers are the professional baseball team in Joliet, part of the Frontier League, a Partner League of Major League Baseball, and are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for fans in the city of Joliet and the surrounding Chicagoland area. The right individual will be an integral part of the team to promote the Slammers’ positive culture, attitudes, and experiences for fans of all ages across all departments.
Job Overview:
The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for the overall management and upkeep of both the home and visitor clubhouses. This is a full-time seasonal job that runs from April through mid-September. The Clubhouse Manager is required to work on all 51 home games, plus pre-season and any post season games.
Essential Duties:
• Laundering of home and visitor uniforms, personals, towels, etc.
• Issuing team uniforms and equipment, including keeping an inventory of all items
• Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of both clubhouses and umpire’s room
• Assist in the coordination of team and umpire meals
• Assist with field maintenance
Additional Responsibilities:
• Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with all Slammers Front Office staff members, visiting teams and umpires
Qualifications/Skills Needed:
• Previous experience a plus
• Ability to work long/odd hours
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Positive attitude a MUST
Hours: Odd hours which will vary by homestand and work load
