Who We Are:
The Brockton Rox are a professional baseball team providing affordable, family-friendly entertainment in the Frontier League, a Major League Baseball Partner League. The Rox play their home games at the 4,750-capacity Campanelli Stadium in Brockton, MA; approximately 45-minutes south of Boston. With a 102-game schedule, the Frontier League expanded from 16 to 18-teams for the 2025 season and has presence in and around several major markets in the eastern, central and southern United States as well as Canada with the league setting an attendance record drawing 1.88-million fans. With Red Sox legend and Hall-of-Famer Jim Rice as a part-owner, the team completed its "Revival Season" in '25, the first year in their return to professional, independent baseball.
Position Overview:
The Ticket Sales Account Executive’s responsibilities include the sale of group ticket packages, hospitality areas, and full / partial season memberships with a focus on B2B sales. The individual in this position will be expected not only to be an exceptional salesperson, but also to deliver outstanding customer service to all clients and prospects to ensure fan retention.
*Candidate will preferably be from the Boston area*
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business by prospecting, cold calling, appointments, stadium tours and attending networking/community events
- Renew all group, hospitality and season members
- Work closely with sales and marketing departments to develop compelling sales programs and components focused on long-term business sustainability
- Maintain a database of contacts and sales progression using a CRM platform
- Meet and/or exceed personal sales goals
- Meet and/or exceed daily and weekly outbound call/appointment minimums
- Contribute to the overall operation by “answering the call” when assistance is needed in another area of our operation
- Represent the organization with the utmost professionalism in the community
- "Team Player", willingness to go above and beyond your job description and contribute to other departments such as operations.
- Availability for all 50+ home games from May - September, as well as other events outside of and during the season while working nights, holidays and weekends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Demonstrable experience delivering results and establishing a book of business, or the desire to do so, especially in sports
- Working knowledge of ticket sales and activation functions within pro sports organizations or the desire to learn
- Strong internal drive and work ethic; willing to go above and beyond to deliver for the organization
- A creative problem solver and strategic thinker
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and ticketing systems
- Ability to attend all home games and special events; minimal travel also required
- Passionate about providing engaged and responsive customer service experience to clients and fans
