THIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP FOR THE 2026 SEASON. College Credit available. In person in Brockton, MA.
The Brockton Rox are seeking general press box staff for home games of the 2026 season. This internship is meant to be an introductory position into a potential sports career, and we are primarily seeking underclassmen and juniors who are still looking to learn the basics of how a press box operates. This on-site position will take place almost entirely inside the press box at Campanelli Stadium, where we are looking for students with a strong passion for baseball and a drive to work in the industry.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
You are expected to be able to attend at least 70% of home games at Campanelli Stadium.
The main goal of this internship is to gain a variety of experiences in many different potential roles, starting with the basics and gradually learning more as the season progresses. These potential roles include: scoreboard and pitch clock operator, camera operator, music and video board operator, live producers for video podcast, and more. As the season continues, you may be asked to assist in roles such as graphic design, journalism, and potentially others if you are interested.
