The Brockton Rox are accepting applications for Spring Interns for the 2026 season. As a Rox Intern, you will have the opportunity to experience and participate in many different aspects of how a professional baseball's front office operates in the off-season.
This is an IN-PERSON internship in Brockton, MA. This internship is unpaid BUT eligible for college credit.
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple departments within a professional sports front office. Interns can gather practical work experience in all aspects of professional sports including, but not limited to:
- Ticket Sales
- Marketing / Promotions
- Stadium Operations
- Corporate Client Management
- Concessions
- Special Events and Projects
Who Are We:
The Brockton Rox are a professional baseball team in the MLB-partnered Frontier League. The Rox are the newest franchise of the Frontier League, but come with a rich history in the City of Champions. The Rox play at Campanelli Stadium, located in Brockton, Massachusetts. Fans and other members of the media can stay up-to-date with all Rox content through their social media channels @BrocktonRox.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day office operations and department-specific projects
- Assist the Ticket Sales and Corporate Partnerships teams with outbound sales efforts including cold calls, follow-up calls, emails, and lead qualification
- Research and prospect new businesses, organizations, schools, and community groups for ticket packages, sponsorships, and hospitality opportunities
- Support planning and promotion of home games, special events, and theme nights
- Help sell group outings, theme nights, fundraising packages, and corporate events at Campanelli Stadium
- Contribute to special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Currently attending an accredited university. (All majors welcomed)
- Passion to work in the sports industry
- Ability to think outside the box, and bring new ideas to the table
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Enjoy working as part of a team
