DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Boston Red Sox Fan & Youth Department works to ensure the organization provides opportunities for young fans to connect with the organization and foster our relationship with the next generation through a series of programs and events. This includes gameday activations at the ballpark, mascot programming, Red Sox Kid Nation fan clubs, the mobile showcase, and hosting a series of large-scale events throughout the year.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Red Sox Fan Growth assistant is responsible for managing daily fan club communications and overseeing loyalty program operations while providing fans with the best experience and customer service. The Fan Growth assistant will support all fan club and Student9s program enhancements and promotions in and out of the park. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond and maintain all fan club email accounts, phone calls, and live chats
  • Oversee the day-to-day tasks for Fan Club loyalty programs
  • Create and coordinate newsletters for Fan Club programs
  • Plan and assist in the execution of year-to-year program changes and enhancements
  • Work with the digital marketing team to create email and social campaigns for programs
  • Coordinate and execute Student9s promotion plans
  • Assist with special tasks where necessary
  • Assist in the execution of major Fan & Youth Engagement events, such as Out of the Park, Little League Opening Day, Play Ball, etc.
  • Assist with overall department goals and kids-related initiatives as needed

CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to commit to January 2026-December 2027 timeline and work flexible hours (34 hours per week) with weekend availability
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to problem-solve efficiently
  • Ability to interact with and entertain a crowd of all ages
  • General knowledge of baseball and the Red Sox
