The Somerset Patriots are looking for individuals to digitally score games live at TD Bank Ballpark. Information entered and compiled will be used to drive the real time information provided on our scoreboards and the content on MiLB’s Gameday application.
These computer operators will be responsible for recording every action and result of play. We are looking for computer literate people who know that the details count! It’s a fun and unique job that requires you to watch baseball!
Qualified Applicants should have:
- A complete and well above average knowledge of the game of baseball and the intricacies of scoring the game.
- A working knowledge of MLB’s “Official Baseball Rules”
- Experience as a DAKSTATS or other stat recording operator in professional baseball or at the college level is preferred.
- STRONG computer proficiency (Windows OS, chat software, ability to learn and operate new applications in a timely fashion)
- The ability to work harmoniously with the data collection personnel and be a cohesive member of the press box team.
- Reliability and punctuality
- The ability to work nights and weekends
- Scheduling flexibility
- *Must take an MLB training course.*
