Summary:  The Somerset Patriots, the AA affiliate of the NY Yankees, have part-time positions available on the grounds crew working home games and events for the 2026 season.  Crew members will assist with removal of batting practice equipment, field prep (lining, dragging, watering), in game field drags, shop / equipment cleanup, post-game field repair, dugout / bullpen cleanup, and other duties as needed.  Crew members will also assist with tarping the field during rain delays and getting the field ready for play after.  This position requires working in a variety of weather conditions and applicants should be able to handle the physical requirements of the job including running, lifting up to 60 lbs, and frequent bending / kneeling.   No prior experience is necessary, but candidates must be able to follow directions, operate in a fast-paced environment, and should enjoy baseball.  Interviews will take place in person at TD Bank Ballpark.

Pay:  $15.92 / hr

Schedule:  Ability to work Patriot home games, HS / youth games, and corporate events April-September.  Most games are at night and will include weekends and some holidays.  See team website for game schedule.  Applicants must be able to work 3-4 games per homestand but are not required to be available for all games scheduled.  Report time is generally 1.5 hrs before game time and finishes approximately 1 hr after the game averaging 5-6 hrs per shift.
