Part-Time Game-Day Souvenir Store Associate
Portland Sea Dogs – Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field
The Portland Sea Dogs are seeking energetic, customer-focused individuals to join our game-day staff as Souvenir Store Associates. This role helps create a memorable experience for fans by assisting them with official Sea Dogs merchandise and providing outstanding customer service during home games and special events.
Position Overview
Souvenir Store Associates work in the team store at Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field during Sea Dogs home games. Associates help fans find merchandise, operate the point-of-sale system, and ensure the store is organized and well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and engaging customer service to Sea Dogs fans
- Assist customers in selecting merchandise, including apparel, hats, novelties, and collectibles
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process purchases accurately
- Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly
- Restock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean store environment
- Assist with merchandise inventory and product organization
- Promote new and featured Sea Dogs merchandise to fans
- Support store operations before, during, and after games
- Work collaboratively with fellow game-day staff and supervisors
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual for scheduled games and events
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light merchandise boxes
- Cash handling or retail experience preferred but not required
Schedule
This is a part-time, seasonal position that works primarily during Portland Sea Dogs home games and select events at Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required throughout the baseball season.
