Job Title: Manager, Game Day Promotions & Programming
Reports To: Vice President/ Communications & General Manager
Hours of Work: As required, Monday to Friday, weekends and holidays if and when needed

Location: Portland, Maine
The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and creative thinker to fill the role of Manager, Game Day Promotions & Programming. The Manager, Game Day Promotions & Programming will help create the team’s annual promotional schedule with the goal of increasing ticket revenue, driving overall attendance, and enhancing the fan experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Vice President/ Communications and the entire staff to develop, schedule, and execute promotional and theme nights throughout the season.
· Work with various departments to coordinate all elements of promotions including videos, music, graphics, food, tickets, and marketing.
· Schedule and book entertainments acts…bands, character appearances, etc.
· Work with MiLB/ MLB to ensure promotions adhere to MiLB/ MLB policies.
· Create and coordinate the execution of in-game promotional events
· Reach out to local groups to add elements to community events and promotions
· Work with the sales team to provide them with sellable promotional inventory.
· Ordering and coordination of promotional items including giveaways, jerseys, theme night supplies, etc.
· Assist in maintaining internal documents including the Homestand Rundown & Promotional Schedule.
· Assist in maintaining the team website with the latest promotional information
· Attend MiLB meetings regarding league wide promotions and implementing events into our schedule. There is some travel required of this position.
· Coordinate National Anthem performers
· Collaborate with the Vice President/ Communications on Email Marketing campaigns including “Know Before You Go”, “Homestand Previews”, and “Win Back”.
· Collaborate on the development and creation of digital marketing campaigns
· Work all Sea Dogs home games and special events at Delta Dental Park.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree preferred
· Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in promotions or related field, experience in Minor League Baseball or sports industry preferred
· Highly organized and detail-oriented
· Strong internal drive and work ethic; willing to go above and beyond to deliver for the organization
· A creative problem solver and strategic thinker
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
· Skilled in basic graphic design…Photoshop/ Canva
· Passionate about providing over-the-top customer service experience to clients and fans
· Excellent writing and communication skills
