Position: Camera Operator
Type: Part-time seasonal
Overview:
The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are seeking part-time seasonal camera operators for the 2026 Sea Dogs Gameday Production Staff. The ideal applicants are local college students or recent graduates who are interested in pursuing careers in broadcast media or sports production. Prior experience operating a camera is preferred but not required.
Paid training. Scheduling is flexible and based on availability.
This position’s duties include, but are not limited to:
- Transporting and setting up gameday video equipment
- Operating the camera throughout the game, under the direction of the technical director
- Covering both game action and on-field contests and promotions between innings
- Breakdown and storage of equipment after the game
