The Erie SeaWolves are currently seeking a part-time employee to perform as a mascot. This individual will embody the team’s mascot character(s) at home games, community appearances, and special events, serving as a key ambassador for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform as the official team mascot at all home games and community appearances.
- Create and deliver engaging, family-friendly entertainment that aligns with the team's brand personality.
- Interact positively with fans of all ages.
- Participate in skits, on-field promotions, and video content for social media.
- Represent the team professionally and enthusiastically at community events, school visits, and sponsor activation.
- Maintain confidentiality of the character's identity to preserve the magic for fans.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in promotions, performing in costume and customer service preferred.
- Must be comfortable performing in front of large crowds and engaging with the public.
- Physically able to perform in a full-body costume for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to dance, move energetically, and convey emotion through body language.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Must pass a background check and possess a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
- Performer's height must be between 5'10" and 6'1"
- Performer's weight must be between 180lbs and 210lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform high-energy movements for extended periods.
- Comfortable wearing a costume weighing up to 20lbs in hot or cold conditions.
